The day has come! So buckle your seat belts and get ready for the time of my life! The past couple days have been just getting things ready...everyday all day! It's been a great thing having Katey Baby around to give me the low down on do's and dont's of backpacking! I have a feeling that the amount I packed would've been twice as much without her here to help! Thanks a heap sis!
So seeing that we're heading out on an adventure that I've been waiting my whole life to do, I figured that I would just check another thing off the bucket list and due my hair too... Whoopsie!! Haha so girls...when you're looking for the curly haired blonde in the airport tomorrow, you might be confused when you can only spot the girl with cotton candy on one side of her head! Yes...indeed in the spirit of waving our freak flag, I am going to be sporting a jolly 3 stripes of pink, blue, and purple on my hair! In the words of Natasha Bedingfield and Willow Smith I would like to collaborate 2 unforgettable and moving songs to create the following phrase to live by... "release your inhibitions and whip your hair back and forth!" I absolutely can't wait for the next month to begin! Looking so forward to it..blue haired and bright eyed! It will be one for the books that I know I'll gain experiences and learn lessons from that will benefit me for the rest of my life!

Let Your Freak Flag Fly
They are calling us the traveling KARNies...Kendall, Avery, Riley, and Nicole. It is true, we will be traveling, and most of the time we will appear to be a freak show, so as my mom always says "Let your freak flag fly!"...and let it fly we will. I am actually quite shocked that we are all allowed to go on this wonderful adventure. "Hey mom, can I romp around Europe for a month, un-chaperoned, with three other girls, and a huge backpack??" Sounds like a great plan! I could not be more excited for all the adventures that lie in front of us. We will be visiting England, Ireland, Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy, and a 22 hour layover in Germany! It is going to be crazy we will be traveling by plane and train, and don't plan on sleeping very much. I will be updating this blog periodically when we have internet access and I can sit down for a few minuets. See you around United States!
