It's Kendall...2nd day in Paris

So pretty much I have had this song stuck in my head since we arrived to the beautiful city of lights: "j'ai deux amours: mon pays et Paris..." which means I have 2 loves: my country and Paris, and that is exactly how I am feeling! The other night when we ran into a little trouble checking into our hotel, I really had an overwhelming moment of missing my mom because I knew she'd be able to figure everything out in an instant. Then that got me going and I ended up having an hour long homesick pity party to myself and missed all my parents, siblings and friends! So yes...you got me to admit it...as much fun as we are having and doing all the fun things we write about, us 4 KARNies still think about home every once and a while and miss it :). But on the other hand..my second love being Paris... I could not be more thrilled to be in the place that I have recurring dreams of returning to and I am here! My two feet are planted on French ground at the moment! How crazy is it that when you look at a map, we are across the Atlantic ocean! It's been quite a crazy thing to wrap my head around haha but anyways...today!

Last night we got home a little late and were all ready for a good nights sleep...but because we all desperately wanted to go to the vintage market, we had to cut our sleeping a little bit short and wake up to go across town to go to that. Of course on our way to the train station, we picked up a couple morning croissants and other french delicacies from our local pâtisserie. We rode the metro (falling asleep on it all the while) to the other end of Paris and walked a little bit to find this "vintage market". Unfortunately, although Riley took us to the right place, the market had changed a little bit. Instead of cool old pins and other vintage knick knacks, there were aisles and stalls full of everything that you would get rid of in a spring cleaning.. Pretty much, it was a huge yard sale haha But it was still a fun experience to not be where the tourists go!...by any means! We did, however, find a little branch of the market that actually was vintage stuff! And we all scored on cool head scarves! Then we took a stop at a local grocery store slash French rite-aid and got some fruit and little snacks to tide us over.

Despite the weather forecast that predicted rain for the whole time that we are here, low and behold, another testament that Heavenly Father is making this the greatest trip ever for us, the sun came out!!! We decided to take advantage of the opportunity and go to Versailles today instead of going in the miserable rain! So we hopped on the metro and took a long metro ride to Versailles! We were all put in awe when we saw the huge and glorious castle that Marie Antoinette once lived in and were even more amazed by the vast amount of beautifully maintained gardens there! We walked over to the area where people rent boats and row around, but we rented some bikes and were ready to get some blood pumping in our bodies! Avery and I tandem bike rode and Riley and Nicole went solo. We rode around through the beautiful grounds and loved looking around us and riding through the woods! We were taking pictures as we rode and were trying to capture the essence of the beauty that surrounded us when I heard a squeal, gravel bein moved all over the place, the sound of a metal bike crashing to the ground, a big "AH!", followed by Riley's hysterical laughing! I turned a round and what do I see but a mangled mess of metal, chains, tires, and Riley on the ground!! Hahah no worries parents...no harm no foul! She wasn't hurt a smidge but it was truly so funny!

We pulled ourselves together and continued our journey through the Versailles gardens. After we returned our bikes, we went over to the lake area where everyone was rowing around on their boats and sat on the grass and took a nap. I was cold and felt vulnerable to theft or worse, so I looked like a bafoon (or so I was told slash laughed at by Nicole) when I put on my black jacket, put on the hood with it zipped up all the way with glasses to keep the bright clouds out of my eyes as I slept (naturally because I forgot my sleeping eye mask at the hotel). I had a fabulous nap despite the weirded out looks I received from many, and was woken up I Riley's sweet voice saying "I'm cold, I'm hungry, and it looks like rain! We're leaving!" hahaha all 3 very good reasons that we all agreed on.
We bid Versailles farewell and began our search for some food to fill up our seemingly bottomless stomachs! We found a cute pâtisserie (there's one nearly every 50 yards here) and after a bathroom break, headed back to the hotel for a nap to rejuvenate us 4 zombies. I don't know if it was our "late" night last night or the grey weather, but something got in us all that made us feel like we couldn't even stand anymore! So we had a nice hour and 1/2 nap :). Then it was out on the town again!

We took the metro to the notre dame stop and set out for dinner..a nice and classy French street food dinner. We grabbed paninis and stuffed our faces with gelato from Amarino, which was actually not amazingly good to our dismay..but ya know..dessert is dessert so we enjoyed it!! I can't wait for Italy when we have real italian gelato!! WARNING: we are all coming back 10 pounds heavier!! You think I'm exaggerating...

We then made our way to a nearby jazz club...probably the highlight of my day!!! I am obsessed with jazz music now!!! I couldn't stop my foot from tapping and my head from bobbing to the sound of the jazzy beat and the trumpet trumpeting and the cute french pianist playing! In addition to the amazing vibes that we were enjoying, all of a sudden this couple came onto the dance floor and were professional swing dancers!! The older woman was so French and had little red dancing shoes and was being passed from French man to frenchman being twirled all over the dance floor! It was mesmerizing! I could not stop smiling! It was so fun to take in everything! The music, the atmosphere, the dancing! It was a ball! The band retired for the night after an hour or two and it was our time to do so as well...so after making a quick chocolate stop at a shop called "g", we went back to the hotel and said our evening prayers in our hotel robes :)

Thanks for reading! Until next time!

Paris, je t'aime

Today was our first full day in Paris, and I was in heaven. It was gray skies, but not too cold, pretty much how I remember it. We started off the day in the marrais, we saw the Pompidou, the churh, and if corse the beloved gay bakery. I love that part of town, it feels like home, I think because I spent so much time over there. We also went into this new vintage store that was really neat and all the girls found some treasures. Kendall and Avery both jumped on the head scarf bow band wagon (I warned them of the possibility of being called aunt jemimah, but told them we could all suffer together) we planned to have a tutorial later on the best way to tie them. Nicole bought a red and white polka dot dress, to start replenishing her dress collection ( she left her stuff sack full of dresses in girona, very tragic) but it was only 10 euros so huzzah! After our jont in the marrais we met up with kendall's friend Darian who is on the byu study abroad right now. We then walked across the Seine to the Notre Dame and around the back of it to the love lock bridge. After seeing a few sights we were ready to get some crepes so we went over the the all famous huchette street and ate our weight in crepes, oooops. It was well worth it. After that we hopped on the metro and went over to place de Concorde, where the famous beheading of Marie antonnette toon place. Then we walked through the Tuileries gardens to the lourve. Avery was loving every minute, everything was brand new for her! After that we walked along the river and sat down under a weeping willow and took a breather, quite picturesque, once again, that's what we are all about, literally Nicole is snapping pictures left and right. Sometimes I give her a hard time, but I really do love it and her, and after everyday when we sit down and look at our day in pictures and laugh and reminisce, I'm grateful. Also we always talk about how these pictures are going to be on our bedside tables and we are going to be telling the same stories over and over again to our kids and grand kids and frankly anyone who will listen and everyone will be sick of hearing them over and over but we will not care and not stop, sorry, that's real. After our little break we went to. Check out the D'orsay, but the line was huge so we decided to come back on Monday when it opens. So instead we went to the opera metro stop and saw the opera house and ventured into galleries layfayette, which was out of control. After a few coats of Chanel nailpolish, lipstick, and perfume we left and went back to the hotel to take a quick snooze. We wanted to be rested for our night. In hopes of a frenchie dinner we went a cafe near the Eiffel tower and had the BEST French onion soup on the face if the planet!!!!! So good. Then we sat on the grass and watched the Eiffel tower sparkle, it is always so magical. We ended our night with a seine river cruise, which we all loved. We had a perfect day and saw a ton of the city! I remembered why I love Paris so much! -Riley Jane

our day in glorious GIRONA!!

Ginora is truly a hidden treasure! Here is how we got here...our trusty host in Barcelona said there are sunflower fields in a town an hour away so we booked our hostel, got on a train and arrived in this dream land! Girona is the perfect blend of gorg buildings with balconies filled with vibrant flowers/ breathtaking cathedrals and a lush green land of glorious trees and flowers and all those in that category that make you just wanna wear a dress with a sun hat and dance around! So we decided we would want to live here and make often trips to Barcelona.

We arrived and walked about15 minutes to our hostel. May I add that we get directions/maps of our desired destination on our handy iPhones in wifi, take screen shots, then try to navigate around those. And we've been quite successful! We set our stuff down and quickly got our day started, considering we had very limited time in the town! Nicole and Riley were leaning towards renting bikes to see the fields and kendall and I wanted to get lost in the town and explore the flower festival taking place through out it! We ended up splitting up, which made everyone happy to do what they wanted. We said we would meet up at 7pm in our hostel but unfortunately the girlies didn't end up biking due to out of seasoned flower fields and other restricting factors that wasn't worth the money. They ended up exploring the town too but we never crossed paths. However, we all did essentially the same thing...romped the town oooing and awing at the creativity in the flower expositions. The town reminded me of Italy with the narrow neighborhoods and we walked all through them and the expositions were all in random little holes in the walls, literally. It was all biazzare and beautiful! Oh and the croissants we had today!! Holy mother of pearls, let's just say we can not wait to get our behinds to Paris tomorrow!

We later met up and headed to the market for lunch food on the train tomorrow (13 hour train ride, baby!). We walked out with a box of dry cereal, a bag of large rabbit carrots, and 4 oranges. Talk about a hearty meal! Then we went to Steve McCurry's photography exhibit.  It was seriously incredible. His work inspired us all to travel the world, and expanding our geographical awareness. By this time we were quite hangry, if you know what I mean! And on the way to find some grubs, boy did we find some fiiiine boys ;) we all decided these Spanish men and are most beautiful people on the planet. We literally stop and stare too often. Anyways, then we got food and Kendall, then again, got her fix of the country's famous food dish (sausage was tonight!). The meal pace is so slow here! Us, Americans come and eat then leave! So we are trying to adapt and have to continually remind ourselves to slow down! Even if it's just chips and guacamole! And after we had to get dessert, duh! And gelato it was! The deliciousness goes with out saying. When we got back to the hostel we met 4 fellow (cute!) travelers from Canada and Sweden. They were so nice and sparked conversation. We all, embarrassingly freaked out and camped out in the lobby area of the hostel in hopes they would come hang out with us...they did! We chatted and don't worry mothers, it was all harmless! But it was fun meeting other travelers!

We absolutely LOVE Girona and are baffled to why it isn't a more  popular tourist location. Tomorrow we set foot to Paris and we couldn't be more excited! Love you all! Peace and blessing!

tapas, tapas, tapas

Riley here…Today was AMAZING.  I am in love with Barcelona, no doubt aboutit.  We got up and ready to go and thenheaded out for the day.  The goal was tosee some of Gaudi’s work.  We started theday at the Sagrada Familia, which is this ginormous cathedral, that is actuallystill under construction.  It wasdesigned by Gaudi, and it is absolutely amazing.  It is like no other Cathedral I have everbeen in.  It has kind of a Modern flairto it.  The inside has breathtakingstained glass, with the most vibrant colors. There are not pictures in it, just rainbows of color.  The ceiling is made to look like tree tops ina forest, the pillars that are holding the whole thing up are all differentheights giving them a tree like feel. Around the back they have marble carvings of many different biblicalscenes, one of which was of Christ when he was younger and a carpenter, which Ifound really interesting.  All together, very very impressive.  After that we wenton a little toodle around the town and looked at some of Gaudi’s other worksaround the city.  His stuff is sodifferent from anything that I have ever seen. That’s one of the things that I love about this city, that they allowedthese types of buildings to be created, even such a long time ago.  After we walked all around the city lookingat Gaudi’s architecture.  We also went toa park that he designed.  It is prettyhigh up and gives you a great birds eye view of the city.  We also took a quick snooze in the park, while listening to some acoustic music and letting the warm Spanish breeze blowpast us.  As you can tell, prettypicturesque, the best of times.  Wedecided to head back to the apartment to grab a sweater cause it was coolingdown a little.  Then we walked to thePlace de Espanya, which is this beautiful square with this big building, withall these steps, pretty sure it is where the Cheetah Girls 2 was filmed....loved it.  We saw the most beautifulsunset, and don’t worry Nicole took millions of pictures…love that about her,we will not forget one second of this trip! After that we decided that we were going to go have the traditionalSpanish meal called Tapas.  Basically youorder a bunch of h’orderve type foods and share everything and eat alot, and it takes like two hours for the whole meal.  We were directed to go to this area but wewandered for a while until we found one that looked good.  And let me tell you, we made a really goodchoice.  It was a pretty small place, ithad all these purple couch type bench things, and low tables, with pillowseverywhere, cool music, and lower lighting. And we ate the most amazing food EVER. We had this one thing that was chunks of sweet potatoes covered inpesto, so naturally Nicole and I were in heaven!  We had such a good time at dinner, the wholeexperience was new and fun and so so so so yummy.  It was such a fun day, we are all in lovewith this city!

"Not all who wander are lost"

Yes..as you may have been able to guess from the inspirational quote as the title of this post, this is Kendall typing. Today was a day where we just wandered around Barcelona. We love seeing the sites but we also love taking in the atmosphere, the vibes, and the culture (and food too of course) of the places we visit. We have come to a consensus that we LOVE Barcelona and that it is incredibly under rated! When we said we were back packing through Europe, Barcelona wasn't necessarily a place that everyone was telling us to go to. But we love it because ya its a major city in Spain, but the vibes of it as really laid back and relaxed, so it's nice to jut wander around and "get lost in the city" like Chris Hardy suggested on the first day of our time here! He's also the one that told us hat he wouldn't be surprised if Barcelona ended up being our favorite place we visit, and I think that it will definitely be a top place!!

Today we woke up a little late and then sent off some of Riley and Avery's clothes back home to lighten their loads a bit! Then the wandering began. We took the metro to the top of this hill near the ocean but still close to everything in the city. We walked up a little ways to fine a castle! There was a wall surrounding it that looked over the whole city and the ocean. It was so nice to sit on that wall and just take in everything around us and feel the breeze on our faces. We stayed up there for a while before we decided to head down the mountain in search for food. On the way down, we found a few cool gardens and parks that we stopped in. We got some fruit and then walked to the pier and laid in the sun and ate some of our fruit. Then we got an email from Chris saying that we were invited to dinner with him and the fam and the apartment! We LOVE hanging out with the hardy's!!! So of course we jumped on the opportunity to spend time with them! It was another delicious dinner made by wonderful Emily!! We were a little less ravenous this time but I still had like 4 helpings because it was soooo good!!! We were even treated with some flan fresh off a nearby farm! Very tasty! But we still had a sweet tooth and ate another mini magnum temptation that Nicole got us all hooked on!!!!!! !Anyways! We're all so excited for tomorrow and so excited to go to the flower festival in Girona! We love Barcelona but I'm excited to adventure into other parts of Spain too! It'll be sad to say goodbye to the Hardy's though! We've grown to love them and their cute girls so much!

It Started With the Shawarma...and It Was Uphill from There

It's me. Nicole. AND I LOVE BARCELONA! Mostly, I love Spain. Period. I keep going all these places thinking that I am so devastated to leave and "how can I ever love the next place as much as this".....but I tell you what. It just keeps getting better. Yesterday, we went to the street market in Galway in the morning and got the BEST donuts I have ever had. Kendall and Riley bought some rings, and we just soaked in the Irish hippy vibes. I love the street performers in Galway and the markets smell like fresh pesto and sundried tomatoes. My favorite things. Then we took a super long bus ride (as usual) to get to the middle of nowhere airport decades early (as usual). We honestly haven't ever gotten so sassy and upset on the whole trip as we did at the Knock Ireland West airport. As we've said before...you don't want to see any of us hungry (especially Avery)...it's not a pretty sight. When we got to the airport, they wouldn't let us check in. Then they made us pay a 10 Euro fee to be in the airport....whaat??? The poor sweet old Irish woman who had to be the messenger in that situation. None of us held back our feelings on that matter. She was probably scared out of her wits. We were livid. And hungry. Which is probably why we were livid, really. Then we got to the "food court" (if you could call it such a thing) and found nothing but candy (which we had made ourselves sick from already), old fish n' chips that cost 13 Euro and had been sitting out all day, short bread cookies, and Pringles. Well...we decided we really need to be healthy and cut back on the sugar...so naturally, the 2 for 5 Euro Pringles were the only option. So healthy. I honestly made myself sick. The donuts for breakfast, box of Irish mint truffles and 2 cans of Pringles made us all feel even more miserable and disgusting. Live and learn. Avery and I had a wonderful plane ride, filled with girl talk and naps. For Kendall and Riley, it was the "most miserable experience of their lives." Here's Kendall's interjection:

"Alright...Kendall here now. The plane ride was pleasant enough when we first sat down...but after about 30 minutes or so...the true colors of the plane began to show.. Literally. The entire plane is bright blue and yellow so bright that it hurt my eyes. The plane kept dropping and raising really fast so my stomach kept dropping and i'd fly out of my seat, or i would be plastered into the seat with no choice but to feel the plane rising and me sink deep into the seat with my neck drooping! Why oh why were babies surrounding my exact seat?! Kicking, crying, laughing (more of a creepy cackle like he had just put a worm down his sisters pants!) I was relieved to find Riley's face portraying an equal level of being disturbed as me! Then, here I am searching for any extra morsel of space to extend my legs! These suckers have got to stretch and being cramped into a tiny ball like i realized i was was not going to work! I was inches away from either stretching my legs by exteding them over riley and having my feet resting on the stranger next to us, or putting my feet straight up on Nicole's chair in front of me! "GET ME OFF OF THIS FLIGHT" was all i could think! Luckily, we got off and regained our sanity, but it was questionable there for a while... here's Nicole again"

Alright she's right. It's me. Nicole again. After the flight, which landed in Girona, Spain (ryanair lies and tells us it's barcelona. There is an hour difference. Never listen to Ryanair), we were lucky enough to hop right on the bus to Barcelona! The bus ride was beautiful! Just woods and the sunset and the old Spanish architecture...lovely lovely lovely. That night, we took the Metro from the bus station and then found our way to good old Chris Hardy's apartment! We were wearing all of our sweaters and whatnot for the Irish breeze, and then landed right in the middle of what felt like the Sahara Desert! By the time we got to the apartment, we were DRIPPING (not an exaggeration. Actually dripping) in sweat. Our dogs were barking, and our backpacks were being dragged on the ground. But after talking to Chris, we learned that Barcelona hadn't even reached dinner time yet. Dinner typically starts at 10:00 pm or so and then the clubs and stuff open around 1:00 am or 2:00am and people stay out until around 5:00am and then sleep all through the morning. Hm. He also said that Barcelona is not a place to sleep. We can catch up on sleep later, but we've gotta live it up while we are here. OKAY! We were ready to conquer the world. We got "dolled up" (aka switched out of our hiking shoes and sweats into tivas and shorts...you think I'm kidding)...for a Lebanese dinner. We were laughing hysterically at ourselves the whole time we walked over there, because 1) we got all dressed up and ready for a night on the town, just to go to a hole in the wall, empty Lebanese food place that is about as classy as "Chipotle." and 2) That these outfits were our idea of getting dressed up! We were pathetic. The food was SO good though. We couldn't read anything on the menu (it was all in Catalan...not to mention we probably couldn't read it if we were in America either...we aren't all too familiar with Lebanese foods). We got Shawarma and Felafel and some other thing we couldn't pronounce, and it was all DIVINE. We knew that this food was the first good omen for the rest of our trip. And we were right. After dinner, we started our horrible habit/ beautiful tradition of stopping by the 24 hr market down the street to buy ice cream bars. We went onto the paseo to eat them, relish in the warm breeze, lie on the sidewalk and dance in the street. We waited until midnight to sing Happy Birthday to our dear Avery, and then, after realizing that we were dead tired, we decided that "dressing up" for dinner was enough craziness for one night. What a shame we are to the Barcelona nightlife.

The next morning- AVERY'S BIRTHDAY and Mother's Day- we woke up and walked to church with the Hardys. At church, right when Kendall and Riley sat down, an Elder turned around and blatantly WINKED right at them. Maybe the rules of the mission are different with different cultures? Maybe that's normal here? They looked so confused and were talking about how weird it was for the next hour, until right after sacrament meeting he came up and apologized for the misunderstanding. He was trying to wink at the man sitting behind them who was getting confirmed that day. It was pretty classic at the time. But church was amazing! Most of the members are immigrants from South America and have really hard lives trying to earn money here for their families back at home. I loved hearing their stories and their testimonies. I learned so much from them, and from just talking to Emily Hardy that day...it was just epiphany after epiphany and I had the chills the whole time.

After church, we went to Parc de la Ciutadella. It is Barcelona's most central park, but it is absolutely beautiful. We walked around and rowed in little boats in the pond and explored the pathways, buildings, greenhouses, and statues all over the park. Then we walked over through the Gothic Quarter and loved their narrow cobblestone streets and the vibes in that part of town. We found a little pizza shop that had really delicious calzones with mushrooms and meat in them and ate outside in the sunshine. It was glorious! Then we walked down to the shore and listened to street performers playing Andean music and got ice cream and walked around the street markets. Then we found a grassy knoll by the ocean and lied on eachother's stomachs to take a nap. Again, glorious. After our rest, we walked down Las Ramblas (extremely touristy, not much to see) and over to the main square where there were floods of protestors and hippies rallying together. We finally walked home where we played with Jane and Alyse and got ready for the dinner that Emily made. It was incredible! Pasta with sundried tomatoes, parsley, fresh parmesan, cherry tomatoes and then pineapple and bread...we inhaled that dinner so fast, it was not anything short of disturbing. That poor family had probably never seen such a sight. But we loved getting to know them better and just talking with them. They are amazing, amazing people with the coolest lives! Then, Emily brought out the chocolate that changed Kendall's life. For good. She honestly hasn't been the same since. It was just the dark chocolate Valor bar with almonds that they sell at a lot of convenience stores here (which I know because Kendall honestly has us go into EVERY one in search of these things), but it is so good! We stuffed ourselves silly. After dinner, we had a lot of down time before we slipped on dresses and went out on the town! (Around 1:00? Which is early for these people). We walked to the Mojito salsa club to celebrate Avery's birthday (an hour late, I know). It was the funnest night ever. At one point in the night, I look over to see: Avery: flowing dress, whipping hair, having the time of her life while a crazy weirdo in a sweater vest and too much hair gel shimmies and makes the most animated faces I have ever seen, Kendall: dancing with a short, stalky, spiky haired, stone-faced, 45 year old Salsa sensation from Ecuador who doesn't even seem to be paying attention, but manages to whip, dip, spin, and twirl Kendall until her feet can't even touch the ground, and Riley: laughing herself to tears, literally and uncontrollably, while a ridiculously sweaty and spastic 5'3" man dances around her at the speed of light and keeps accidentally touching his dripping, bald head to her underarm, somehow. I was dying. This whole scene was too funny. Though we were having the time of our lives, we looked like the biggest noobs compared to the sexy Spanish women who all were professional dancers and wore high heels and red lipstick. We stuck out like a sore thumb. Nevertheless, we decided to end on a strange note when the weirdo who had been dancing with Avery, kept sticking out his tongue (not in a trying to be gross or sexy way, but in a "nee-ner-nee-ner-nee-ner" pesty little brother way) at us while he'd dance with Riley...and then he just paused with the music, looked at her, and bit her arm. What??? It was just too awkward. Hilarious. But too much to handle! Regardless, I think it is safe to say, we will never forget that night and honestly had the time of our lives. Sorry for the ridiculously long post. Whoops! That's all for now! I love Barcelona. I love it here, and never want to leave! I think I've gotta live here some day.

livin life on the edge!

today’s agenda was debated for quite sometime yesterday. we all had somewhat different opinions but the ending decision was to buy a ticket for the cliffs of moher tour. we were a tad worried we were going to have had spent 26 precious scrillas for an annoying tour group and boring tour guide.
However, all our fears were quickly gone when we got onto our tour bus and our 90 year old, white hair leprechaun opened his mouth(which so happened to be covered in questionable white goop) and also his name was desmond. If only I could add in a voice recording of his voice booming over the bus speakers! It was literally hysterical!   He told us to kiss him, was a clear addict of Guinness beer, and he actually said these exact quotes, “osyters are good for your sex life, i ate 3 dozen oysters last night that have not taken effect yet, so ladies, watch out!” and other hilarious nonsense like how we has done the dirty against a rock wall we made a stop at. He kept cracking American jokes and don’t worry, he gave out his digits over the microphone. Oh, and not to mention he said “I love you” in 40 different languages when we were leaving. We were dying! And don’t forget that this man had the thickest irish accent you could ever imagine! In the first 5 minutes we unanimously decided we made the right choice!
Our first stop was to this cool castle from a heck of a long time ago

Next, a glorious look out point of the surrounding cities!

And then we made a stop at the home of all the fairies in the land!

then to some stone aged cemetery

And then we made it!! after 4 hours of listening to desmond rant about who knows what, we finally made it to the cliffs!

Nothing was better than feeling the wind in our hair, the sun on our face and looking out at the scenery.  The cliffs were breath taking and we sure soaked it all in:the sun, the cliffs, the everything! (*side not: we have taken 2,600 photos thus far. Thank you, Nicoley oley!!) We had such a wonderful time prancing around the dandelions! and then back on the bus we went with our dear desmond! once we got back to the hostel we took our bags up and quickly left to get some dinner! we realized that the only time when the mood of us girlies get a little tense is when we are hungry, not when we are stranded or getting stroked or have nothing to do, just when we are hungry.  big gurls ova hurrr! anyways, we got some food and kendall bought 12 of her favorite chocolate bars and then we went to the pub to listen to some irish music! which one thing may have lead to another...and the super duper cute danish guitar player in the irish band   kissed me! sorry mom, but this is real and something i will never ever forget! yahoo! we all kinda freaked out and laughed and screamed but ya i guess it did happen and we can all laugh about that forever and ever. we are posting all our Ireland photos to the fbookie tonight cause sadly, tomorrow we depart this gorgeous country but then we are off to Barcelona and we couldnt be more thrilled! let the good times keep coming, baby!! happy day! happy day! happy day!
