"Not all who wander are lost"

Yes..as you may have been able to guess from the inspirational quote as the title of this post, this is Kendall typing. Today was a day where we just wandered around Barcelona. We love seeing the sites but we also love taking in the atmosphere, the vibes, and the culture (and food too of course) of the places we visit. We have come to a consensus that we LOVE Barcelona and that it is incredibly under rated! When we said we were back packing through Europe, Barcelona wasn't necessarily a place that everyone was telling us to go to. But we love it because ya its a major city in Spain, but the vibes of it as really laid back and relaxed, so it's nice to jut wander around and "get lost in the city" like Chris Hardy suggested on the first day of our time here! He's also the one that told us hat he wouldn't be surprised if Barcelona ended up being our favorite place we visit, and I think that it will definitely be a top place!!

Today we woke up a little late and then sent off some of Riley and Avery's clothes back home to lighten their loads a bit! Then the wandering began. We took the metro to the top of this hill near the ocean but still close to everything in the city. We walked up a little ways to fine a castle! There was a wall surrounding it that looked over the whole city and the ocean. It was so nice to sit on that wall and just take in everything around us and feel the breeze on our faces. We stayed up there for a while before we decided to head down the mountain in search for food. On the way down, we found a few cool gardens and parks that we stopped in. We got some fruit and then walked to the pier and laid in the sun and ate some of our fruit. Then we got an email from Chris saying that we were invited to dinner with him and the fam and the apartment! We LOVE hanging out with the hardy's!!! So of course we jumped on the opportunity to spend time with them! It was another delicious dinner made by wonderful Emily!! We were a little less ravenous this time but I still had like 4 helpings because it was soooo good!!! We were even treated with some flan fresh off a nearby farm! Very tasty! But we still had a sweet tooth and ate another mini magnum temptation that Nicole got us all hooked on!!!!!! !Anyways! We're all so excited for tomorrow and so excited to go to the flower festival in Girona! We love Barcelona but I'm excited to adventure into other parts of Spain too! It'll be sad to say goodbye to the Hardy's though! We've grown to love them and their cute girls so much!
