Kendall on the blog floor! sunday

A little behind because of the lack of wifi in grogeous Sussex! We loved it there! We woke up this morning (technically at 4 am because of an unnamed cougher in the group...we'll just call her N. Hawkins... no no no. Nicole H.) But woke up at 8:30 or 9 or so and got ready for the day... don't worry mother dear...we left the place nicer than we found it...or so we tried :) The gardener (whom we all have a big crush on) took us to the train station like the good, kind, home-schooler art teacher, mouse manager, dog-rescuing, handsome man that he is! Anyways...after an hour long train ride that was packed and we couldn't sit down, we made it back to the apartment...feels like home! Except we're leaving from a couple of days, so not exactly home... oh the life of nomads! We quickly changed into our church clothes...or at least the best that we could do...dresses over our thermals, converse, vans, greasy hair in buns, windbreakers, small day-bag backpacks and all! We went to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints young adults singles ward and it was a wonderful ward and a beautiful chapel! It is right on the street in the city and is also a visitors' center! It's brand spanking new and so nice! We had the privelege of being there on fasting testimony meeting and got to hear people's testimony's from all over the world! It was really so cool to know that the church and the gospel is the same all over the globe! It was such a wonderful meeting and we even got to hear from our very own Avery and Nicole! OH! I also saw Ali Dudley (new last name: Florence)!! So bizarre! She's from my home stake!! small world...Following all of the meetings, we walked with the missionaries to their aparment so we could get some Books of Mormon from them for people we encounter that might be interested in reading one! So we followed the two super adorable missionaries to where they could get us some BoM's and we discovered that Avery actually knew one of them (of course)!!!! it was the most bizarre hilarious thing!!! But then again...how could you confuse a mormon Italian who is on the BYU hip-hop team for anyone else besides Elder Ceva!! And of course...we will be friending the adorable soon to be RM (in 7 days) named Elder Solomon! Welllll, we got the books and then bid them farewell and were off to break our fasts and get some din din. We have been eating nothing but bread/pasta/sandwhiches since we got here! haha delicious, but probably not completely good for our health probably! haha

Anyways! We left and made our way to Oxford Circuis (a big street where there are a bunch of shops)..we looked around and just looked in windows and stuff until we figured out where to meet Sam Sherman, who generously invited us to go hot tubbing at his hotel! So of course we said yes!! Funniest thing... it was a bit difficult to figure out where and when the heck to meet him because we could only communicate via wifi, which was a tad harder to connect to than you'd expect! So we went to the hotel and hung out in the comfy chairs smelling the blissful roses! Avery went to figure it out...but was gone for a while..and just when we realized this, guess who walkes in the gold revolving doors?! None other than one and only Sam Sherman! "Good to see you! We're missing the 4th!" "Oh, she was just facebooking me.." what the heck!?? Turns out, Avery found the business center! Proud of her resourcefulness but also hysterical! just sitting on at the business computer at the 5 stars hotel! hahaah it was a sight to behold most certainly! We had a quick little dip and the classy hot tub before they kicked us out! But not before we rinsed off in the shower that was literally a waterfall head!! we also were able to score on just a couple of complimantary kits that they had in the locker rooms! It was wonderful!  But not as wonderful as the next part of the night!!! We kidnapped Sam Sherman and took the Tube to this place that I found on the internet that was supposed to be playing an outside movie!! We literally planned our whole weekend on being able to see this night! Well we searched and searched in a sketchy neighborhood (don't worry...Sam Sherman was our body guard) for a place called Queen of Hoxton, but all we could find was a bar/dance place called that exact same name!! Talk about being confused! How about you try to ask drunken bums about where an outdoor movie is playing?! Not easy...not easy. Anyways...we decided to give up and do something else, but then Avery heard some bumping music from the Queen of Hoxton place and we all went inside and found than it was as fun music as Area 51 (shout out to all the BYU freshies!!!) except we were the onnly ones dancing! So it was pretty much 80s dancing at 10 o'clock minus the smoke machines but plus tables of British people eating and laughing at us! So needless to say it was a good time. But i looked over to the chalk board and what do i see?! But i sign that says "rooftop! and an arrow up! I know that might be obvious, but i thought i'd ask about it... so when i asked, the man asked me if i was looking for the cinema! YA I AM!!!! so i dragged the whole crew (Sam Sherman and all) up to the rooftop...still a little skeptical. We climb what felt like 50 staircases and ended up finding ourselves in a movie! It was so magical! Cinema Paradiso was playing on a beautiful rooftop with a rooftop garden and lihgtbulbs strung across the place and little flags too! Everyone had headphones on, too so the audio was personal! We asked the head guy about it and he said that he would give us half off!! So we got blankets, headphones, and the most memorable night of my life!! Talk about picturesque perfect!!! Here I am... with 3 of my best friends, on a rooftop garden in london watching the cutest movie which was ABOUT watching outdoor films, while i'm backpacking through Europe! I wanted to cry it was so perfect! That was something that i've always wanted to do and my expectations were nothing but surpassed! It was the most amazing magical thing i have ever witness or been a part of! I will forever remember this night!!

Well, we took the tube home and bid Sam Sherman farewell, and even met some drunk people on the tube who were obsessed with California! it was pretty hilarious.. but now we're getting screwed up on our sleeping schedule seeing that it's 2:30 in the morning, but we'll get back on track soon. I love you all!! Thanks for reading! ;P
