livin life on the edge!

today’s agenda was debated for quite sometime yesterday. we all had somewhat different opinions but the ending decision was to buy a ticket for the cliffs of moher tour. we were a tad worried we were going to have had spent 26 precious scrillas for an annoying tour group and boring tour guide.
However, all our fears were quickly gone when we got onto our tour bus and our 90 year old, white hair leprechaun opened his mouth(which so happened to be covered in questionable white goop) and also his name was desmond. If only I could add in a voice recording of his voice booming over the bus speakers! It was literally hysterical!   He told us to kiss him, was a clear addict of Guinness beer, and he actually said these exact quotes, “osyters are good for your sex life, i ate 3 dozen oysters last night that have not taken effect yet, so ladies, watch out!” and other hilarious nonsense like how we has done the dirty against a rock wall we made a stop at. He kept cracking American jokes and don’t worry, he gave out his digits over the microphone. Oh, and not to mention he said “I love you” in 40 different languages when we were leaving. We were dying! And don’t forget that this man had the thickest irish accent you could ever imagine! In the first 5 minutes we unanimously decided we made the right choice!
Our first stop was to this cool castle from a heck of a long time ago

Next, a glorious look out point of the surrounding cities!

And then we made a stop at the home of all the fairies in the land!

then to some stone aged cemetery

And then we made it!! after 4 hours of listening to desmond rant about who knows what, we finally made it to the cliffs!

Nothing was better than feeling the wind in our hair, the sun on our face and looking out at the scenery.  The cliffs were breath taking and we sure soaked it all in:the sun, the cliffs, the everything! (*side not: we have taken 2,600 photos thus far. Thank you, Nicoley oley!!) We had such a wonderful time prancing around the dandelions! and then back on the bus we went with our dear desmond! once we got back to the hostel we took our bags up and quickly left to get some dinner! we realized that the only time when the mood of us girlies get a little tense is when we are hungry, not when we are stranded or getting stroked or have nothing to do, just when we are hungry.  big gurls ova hurrr! anyways, we got some food and kendall bought 12 of her favorite chocolate bars and then we went to the pub to listen to some irish music! which one thing may have lead to another...and the super duper cute danish guitar player in the irish band   kissed me! sorry mom, but this is real and something i will never ever forget! yahoo! we all kinda freaked out and laughed and screamed but ya i guess it did happen and we can all laugh about that forever and ever. we are posting all our Ireland photos to the fbookie tonight cause sadly, tomorrow we depart this gorgeous country but then we are off to Barcelona and we couldnt be more thrilled! let the good times keep coming, baby!! happy day! happy day! happy day!
